Due to customer demand for irregular truck route services, National Cartage Ltd. acquired MattJenn Enterprises in 1992.

 

MattJenn's function is a full trailer load carrier that offers drayage/intermodal service from the Canadian Pacific Railway ramp in Regina and the Canadian National Railway ramp in Saskatoon. MattJenn also hauls a variety of products throughout Western Canada and the Western United States. 

 

The decision to keep the name MattJenn was made as the company had operating authority in areas National Cartage Ltd did not have. Both National Cartage and MattJenn function as one entity, however depending on the particular service area, MattJenn will be the name customers see strictly because of operating authority.
